About PROTOGRAPHY

Arizona Photographer, Jonny Schnaible

A professional photographer has traditionally been perceived as a technician who operates a camera. I am more of a storyteller… an interpreter of life who uses the medium of photography to capture extraordinary moments.

I have a relaxed, yet energetic, personality that will put you at ease while we capture images that we are all happy with. Almost as important as capturing fantastic images is having a good time while doing so. It has been my experience that if we are having fun, we get better images!

I am relentless, and will not rest until you are satisfied! I want to see clients walk away more than happy with their fantastic photos, and also with a smile from having a great time… photography can be a wonderfully fun experience if it's done with the right photographer. I am that photographer!

Why did I choose to be a Photographer?

I chose to follow my passion of photography to make an impact… both artistically, and in the satisfaction and delight I bring to my clients. Portraits of a happy family, a fun-loving couple, or a beautiful wedding day... these moments can all be preserved as timeless memories through photography.

Whether doing photography in a studio session, at a special event, in a theatre, or on location throughout Arizona, I will artfully find the best way to frame, capture and tell your unique story.

Performance & Theatre Photography

Performing arts photography for theater, musicians, magicians, bands, and others, is one of my passions. I enjoy photographing performers… especially live theatre, scene stills, and cast portraits. Capturing the magic behind production efforts of actors, crew, producers, and directors can be challenging, even to the best of photographers. Taking photographs of theatre performers under custom stage lighting, or in low light settings, can require special skills and techniques. I have developed these capabilities through experience, and work to capture each magical moment through my technical photography skills, artistic sensibility, and love for the theatre. Headshot Photography

Headshot photography is another area of photography which I enjoy. Capturing that one special look which reflects your inner essence and says ‘this is ME’ is as much an art, as it is technical. Glamour shots, professional headshots, corporate and executive headshots, school or graduation photos… all require a keen eye, professional equipment, special lighting and background settings for optimal high quality results. I spend considerable time in each session, typically 2-3 hours, on coaching facial posture and body positioning to capture the right “look”. The secret to taking fantastic headshots is through coaching. With the right coach anyone can walk away with amazing headshots, whether or not you are comfortable in front of the camera. I am here to help you know how to stand, what to do with your eyes, nose and mouth to capture amazing photographs! Visit Headshot Photography Portfolio to see samples of my work.
